Photography full-time

Niels Plieger of Team Leiden with the ball

Last month, I shot my last basketball game for a little while at Amsterdam's Bijlmer station for the Streetball Masters finals. I've been shooting games for them since 2013 and had a great time every time. The games are fun, the people are great, and the excitement is catching. Now, I am switching to photography full-time, instead of just doing it on weekends and vacations.

This means I have to figure out rate sheets, research clients, and create a brand identity. It's a new endeavour, so wish me luck. For the record, I want to focus on advertising for sports brands.

For this month, it means I'll be working on my website. Depending on whether I stay with my current host, it may have a lot of changes over the coming weeks as it is fine-tuned. Feedback is welcome, though no guarantee my changes will make everyone happy (I'll do my best!)

My primary computer and access to my files won't be restored for a few weeks, so there won't be any new content until then. For the moment all changes will have to do with the way the site is organized. I won't even be able to make a logo until my main computer is returned. Look forward to a totally revamped site in the next 4-5 weeks or so.

Until then, have a happy summer!
